From a bottle. Clear, amber, medium head. Hoppy, mild citrus aroma. Clean, bold hop flavor. Very good.

Bottle courtesy of sebletitje. Pours a clear golden with a one finger off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of citrus hops, sweet malt, and a hint of caramel. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness. Very good.

12oz bottle. Pours nice amber with a moderate white head, some lace. Smells hoppy and metallic with solid caramel sweet malts in the background. Tastes sweet and slightly fruity, slightly nutty with sweet malt flavors as well. Slightly metallic but not a ton. Medium body, good carbonation.

Bottled sample. Orange in colour with medium carbonation. Fairly floral hop aromas mix with notes of white grapefruit, white grapes, pine, caramel, and biscuits. Mild citrus fruit in the mouth, along with a bunch of pine sap and mild caramel malts. The chunky tree bark bitterness is firm, but not overpowering. Medium bodied. Nice.

Aroma- Dominant hop aroma characterized by light citrus, pine resin, and light perfume, light grassy tones, subdued biscuit malts, light fruit esters. Appearance- Bright copper with amber highlights, sparkly off-white thick head sustains, good clarity. Flavor- Hop flavors fall off from the dominating aroma, low-moderate American hop flavors of resin and grass, but the hop bitterness is moderate-high, moderate bread malt foundation perceived in the middle, no diacetyl, minimal esters, very dry finish with minimal alcohol presence. Mouthfeel- Medium-bodied, medium-high carbonation, light alcohol warming in the finish, smooth and creamy texture. Overall- A bitter IPA lacking in hop flavors, fair disconnect between the aroma and taste in terms of hop presence, the finish borders on being too dry and bitter and hangs around for quite a while.

Thanks to theisti for this brew. From the bottle pours amber, very clear, with a tall white head. Big floral hop nose, pine and citrus in the hops, all with a solid malt base. The flavor has a sweet ice tea character, fruity with a caramel kick. Finish is loaded with floral hops. I thought this was a really well built IPA, very good.

More balanced and smoother of a beer than the Scurvy IPA. Not the awesome aroma, but a nice floral hoppiness with a bready malty balancer. Finish is bitter.

Aroma: A whiff of pine, a little citrus, somewhat faint. Appearance: Beautiful amber pour, slightly hazy with sediment, flourishes up a couple fingers of head that leave lacing all down the glass. Flavor: Hop-forward, pine and citrus, along with a significant bitterness that lasts into the finish. In the middle, the bitterness is countered by bready malts with a touch of sweetness. Palate: Light, juicy body with lively carbonation. A little warming on the finish counters the bitter aftertaste.
