A very decent porter! Pours dark brown with tan head. Aroma is licorice and ouzo. Flavor is smoke, prunes, licorice, ouzo, and a slight absinthe flavor. Porters are blends, so they can vary porter to porter. This one is good.

Pours a deep black colour with a nice caramel malted taste, and soft chocolate undertones. Not too rich. Thin head, basically little to no lacing,

Thanks buckybeer, for the bottle in trade!
Pours black with a tan head. Smell is nicely roasty with a light coffee element. Taste is thinner than the smell with roastiness and a light coffee flavor again. Bit too watery with a light body and medium carbonation. Decent, but not great.

Bottle.

Pours deep black with a nice light-tan head. Roasty nose with some berries in the background. Straightforward flavor, not over-roasted, mild blackberry, gently sweet, pretty aggressive carbonation making it not quite quaffable. Pretty nice beer.

Bottled. A deep red beer with an orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of fruit and berries as well as light notes of straw. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and fruit, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks Boboski for trading this to Papsoe.

Dark brown in color with a beige head. Chocolate, expresso and moderate sweetness. A forward, fairly simple porter.
