12 oz. bottle via trade with KingpinIPA - Pours a clear brown color with a one finger thick tan head. Light lacing. Aroma is mainly coffee with some roasted malt in there. Flavor is nice! It’s coffee, chocolate, vanilla, and bourbon all blended perfectly. This beer is very soft and smooth. Tyranena has these big beers down pat. An excellent beer. Thanks Mike.

This beer has a marvelous aroma of coffee, chocolate, and bourbon but none of these overpower at all. I like how this was blended with part bourbon aged and part non bourbon aged. I think it is better this way. I might have been too much bourbon for this one if it was all bourbon aged. Flavor was very smooth. Not much noticeable alcohol at all. Excellent beer.

Pours a black cola with a ruby tint and a medium sized thickish light brown head. Aroma of freshly brewed coffee, vanilla oak, and bourbon. Taste of vanilla oak, bourbon and coffee. Nice.

12 oz bottle. Poured dark brown in color with a medium sized tan head. Aroma of strong roasted coffee and hints of vanilla. Tastes of strong coffee, oats, vanilla, notes of bourbon and oak. Very very nice. This one was balanced nicely which made it quite enjoyable..

Bonus bottle from pepsican (among many others in a huge box he sent). Thanks Andy! I see this is listed as porter. Probably the best porter on the planet. It just seems like so much more: An imperial porter bordering on imperial stout. Lots of coffee in the aroma initially scares me a little, but I don’t detect that burnt aroma. Smooth caramel, coffee, malty, maybe some molasses as well. Thick body. I can easily see this having higher unfermentable sugars, keeping it’s ABV down to 8%, whereas other brewers using the same recipe might mash for higher fermentables and end up with a dry mess. This is truely awesome. I definitely want to get more of this. Yum.

Deep brown in color with a thin light brown head. The nose really showed coffee along with a vanilla (oak) edge, chocolate and maple-syrup oatmeal. In the mouth it was medium-bodied, concentrated, quite smooth and refreshing due to the carbonation. To be picky, the only thing I wish is that the finish showed more flavor. Very nice and should age well on top of that. Well Done! This has to be one of the best values out there!

Bottle from KingpinIPA. Dark brown with chocolate and coffee aroma. Tan fizzy head. The flavor was of fresh coffee with light sweetness. Oily body with minimum bourbon finish. Good stuff.

12oz that I got from multiple sources. When this first came out I knew it would be good, Tyranena understands extreme beer. Anyhoo Pours black with a thin light brown head. What a damn beautifal nose, chocolate, bourbon, and coffee all balanced nicely into something i could smell everyday and not every get bored of. Taste is rich and sweet with a clear cut oatmeal back end mixed with chocolate and coffee with a hint of bourbon just enough to be there but not at all overwhelm. Aftertaste is full of coffee beans, overall a great brew with a lot of potential. Keep up the shenanigans Tyranena.
