Bottle, Miami Beach throwdown. Cloudy black-brown. Serious chocolate-covered coffee beans. Loads of vanilla and chocolate swirled together, making this a true ice cream beer! Yum.

Deep, dark black with a small, light brown head. Aroma is a load of dark roasted coffee with a little bourbon sweetness. Flavors of dark roast coffee, rich dark chocolate, silky smooth oatmeal, Toasted malt and the sweet bite of bourbon lingering throughout. Full bodied and satisfying, there isn’t a finish so much as the flavors just refuse to fade. Outstanding.

12oz bottle-Pours dark brown almost black with a nice two finger tan head. An aroma of coffee, oatmeal and slight bourbon. Taste is of coffee, chocolate, and burnt malt. This full bodied brew is very well balanced. Another great brew from Tyranena. A kick ASS porter.

Courtesy of Degarth. Pours dark dark brown with thin tan head. The aroma has lots of roasted coffee bean notes and faint burnt malts and not much else. It has lots of coffee in the nose but not overpowering. The taste is coffee and roastiness mixed with tasty burnt malts. I also get some mild rich chocolate malts in the background along with some malt sweetness. Really nice tasting brew.

Blackest black...roasty brown head. Fantastic aromatics, huge roasty lively rich and fresh coffee aroma...wow! Wow! For 6 am, this is an ideal beer! and then there’s the whiff of the whiskey, lingering below. Earthy and alive...amazing. Drinking it...Chocolate pops up, and the smooth, silky oatmeal feel...coffee comes back, and then comes the sweet bourbon. Good Lord, it’s decadent! Sweet, slick, rich, bittersweet, a mystical elixir. Jumps up and sips sweet succor into the mouth again and again, flavors joust and jockey for their place in the senses. This is one of those rare beers that puts everything I like in one place. It sets me up just to knock me down. I’m gonna have to stock up on this one! Delish...

Very good porter. Wow. You think you are going to drink black coffee from the aroma. Also aroma of roasted malt. Coffee, chocolate taste with a very slight bourbon edge. Black pour with minimal head.

12oz bottle. Opaque black with a thin film of dark brown head. Coffee bean, dark chocolate aroma. Coffee predominates the flavor. Baker’s chocolate, tinges of vanilla. Slight boozey chracter. Coffee persists in the finish, slight ashen mouthcoat. Mouthfeel is heavy, somewhat slick.

Poured black with a thin tan head. The aroma is of ashy roasted coffee with some vanilla underneath. Coffee, ash and light bourbon. The ash for me was too dominant in the aroma and flavor. It is something that makes or breaks a coffee beer for me. Medium smooth mouthfeel.
