Commercial Description:
A South German-style hefeweizen. The beer is characterized by a fruity and pheloic aroma and flavor. Hop flavor and aroma are absent and low hop bitterness. A medium bodied beer with high carbonation. The color is deep golden. The unfiltered yeast makes this beer cloudy. Available in the Summer

Thanks to hopdog for the bottle. Pours a lightly hazy golden with a medium bubbly white head that left slight lacing. Aroma of clove, earthy, very light banana, some sulphur, wheat and citrus. Flavor of sweet malty wheat notes, sugar coated Cheerios, citrusy notes, clove and banana.

Courtesy kmeves. Pours a clear golden color with a small white that recedes quickly. The aroma shows faint notes of banana and citrus with wheat. The flavor follows these same lines with the banana and citrus up front with clove, spices, and wheat in the background. Medium bodied and overly carbonated and pretty thin on the body for the style. The flavor was decent, but there wasn’t much to get excited about here. A decent hefe at best.

Bottle from Grimreeser. Thanks Chad. Pours hazy amber with a half finger rocky white head. Lots of clove esters in the nose. Lighter side of medium bodied with a refreshing and thin texture. Wheaty but thin maltiness, countered by spice and clove. Perhaps a tad over attenuated. Finish is vegetal and clovey. I don’t see a date on the bottle, but I am thinking this may be a bottle past it’s prime or improperly stored by the store/distributor.

Nice hefe aroma with citrus in the background. Unusually fizzy for this style beer. But it was very tasty - a fine American made hefeweizen. Another solid offering from Tyranena.

12oz bottle-A nice loudy orangish yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of banana, cloves, and a little spice. Taste is of the same with the banana being prominant in the front and middle then followed by a dry finish. Not the best American brewery doing a Hefe but still rather tasty.

sampled from bottle: Poured a basically dark, clear, golden colour with a small white head. Aroma was very faint of cloves, grass and possibly stale gum. Taste was rather dissapointing, hint of fruit, pear slices- mouthfeel was weak with little cream or even a semi-wheaty texture. A little suprised they went with this brew, style was poorly represented.

Partly cloudy yellow with thin white head. Aroma of banana & wheat. Tastes of mild bananas and has a mild dry finish.
