12oz bottle, courtesy of a trade from a while ago (Monger? SkyView? Ughsmash?). No clue. Thanks, though! Pours a bright, medium orange color; off-white head with decent lacing. A strong dose of sugar and red fruits in the aroma; sweet without being syrupy. Pleasant acidity and citrus at the front of the mouth; medium mouthfeel; maple syrup and candy sugar maltiness at the core, if slightly one-dimensional; this beer really succeeds from its liveliness in the mouth: carbonation and drinkability are excellent. Medium, tea-like malt and candy sugar finish.

Bottle from Skyview. Color is a deep gold, with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet, tea like aspect, pale malts. Taste is mildly malty, light hoppiness in the background with some fruit. Body is fine.

Rich amber body with a modest white head. The aroma is sweet and worty with a touch of earthiness to keep it in check. Mayhaps a tad too sweet in the flavor, and I feared for my aging canines. The malts are SWEET, caramel & bread, and the hops pretty much fade away. Okay, but a bit much for me.

I think Skyview delivered this goodie. Dark gold color with a thin head. Very grainy aroma, laced with honey. Sweet grain and bready taste with a little more than a moderate Noble hop finish. Not bad at all.

Thanks to Skyview for sharing. Grainy nose with a caramal flavor on the very sweet grainy body. Amber color with a little off-white head.

This is a well carbonated beer with a tall head, and amber color. Aroma has grain and minimal caramel. A little sweet, just a hint of hops, and more grain in the flavor. A fine beer, but not very bocky.

Picked up a six-pack from Chicone’s in Hudson, Wisconsin. The label reads as "Fighting Finches Mai Bock" The beverage pours a caramel amber brew with an average off-white, creamy head that slowly dissolves to a cream ring and no lacing. Aroma of multi-grain malt, some caramel, flowery hops, roasted nuts and toffee. Taste is smooth, creamy and semi-sweet with flavors of rich caramel, sweet toffee and a touch of brown sugar. Finish is smooth, semi-sweet with a mild bitterness. Aftertaste has a lingering sweet caramel and vanilla flavor. Kind of surprised to find this brew available during the beginning of August.

Bottled. Poured a clear lighter golden with lots of rising carbonation and a short-lived white head. The aroma picked up freshly-drawn caramel, dried leafy and woodsy hops, and a pinch of brown sugars. The flavor had a nice malt focus with sweet and tangy caramel, brown sugar, and graham crackers with mild floral and herbal bitter accents. Lighter-bodied with a vrey good flow to it... slightly tacky caramel finish. Tasty brew.
