Thanks Chuck! Pours to a nice clear bronzed body with a huge bubbly off-white head. Nice lacing. The aroma is graham crackers and mango. The flavor is also graham crackers and mangoes. Very distinct flavor. I’ve never had a bock that tastes like this. The palate is medium bodied and syrupy.

Real fine slightly hazey amber with a thin white head. The aroma is a soapy malt and hops, character, but not too great. Flavor picks up to a chalky malt with some light citrus, the hops there make it a nice well rounded beer, but the taste is a bit off. I almost forgot, bit thanks to my Secret Santa.

Clear reddish amber body. Thin and creamy off-white head. Immediate impression of the aroma was an alfalfa sprout similarity. Now, its more of a gently perfumey-hopped malt extract. Sweet taste. Some of the same veggie stuff I picked up in the aroma shows up again in the taste. Its an okay beer, very well rounded to me.

Pours a clear copper bronze with a thin off-white head. Aroma is dry, grainy, and lightly sweet with a hint of bocky lager yeast character. Body is full, malty and has a pleasant sweetness, well balanced with a noble hoppiness and a dry finish. Could have a little more authentic flavor, but it’s pretty close. Any enjoyable brew.

Bottle. My first mai-bock so maybe I don’t have an understanding of this style. Smells of light malt and rice?? Color is amber with light head. Taste is malt but I’m tasting something metallicy, almost blood like. Finishes a bit bitter in the finish . Smooth but if all mai-bocks taste like this it isn’t the style for me!

Thin wispy head. Reduces quickly to a light chunky foam. Good carbonation. Light malt aroma with some bread, toffee and a hint of roastyness. Color is a nice coppery orange. Soft in the mouth with plenty of malts, a touch of sweetness and roasted grains. Hint of bitterness in the flavor and the finish. Soft at and creamy going down. A very good and easy drinking brew. Thanks to Drnk_McDermott for this one.

On tap at the brewery. Smells effervescent and lemony. Traditional maibock coloring. Tastes of grapefruit, mango, caramel and hops. Full tasting, oily on the palate. Nice rendition of a maibock.
