Sep 30, 2007 A decent Oktoberfest, but really about average for the style. Light malt flavors and aroma. Some caramel. A little sweet. Medium to thin palate. Very easy to drink.

Sep 29, 2007 Of course, a growler from Skyview. Copper color with no head. Really no aroma at all. A little sweet grain taste. Slight floral hop finish. Not bad and very drinkable, but not much going on.

Sep 27, 2007 On tap at Thirsty Troll Brewfest
The pickings continued to be slim so I opted to give this a try even though I intend to pick up a six pack for myself in a few weeks time. It wasn’t bad but I’ve had better oktoberfests. This one was probably one of the better ones available at the time though.
Aroma / Appearance - The cloudy brown body was transparent with a busy carbonation. Honey, caramel and orange cream highlight the aroma which also contains wheat. It is not complex but it does the job.
Flavor / Palate - Caramel and honey form the basis of most of the sips. Chocolate cocoa puffs unfold as a suprise before the end. It is drinkable and enjoyable without setting the world on fire.

Sep 24, 2007 Sampled at the brewery. Pours a nice reddish brown. Nice smoky malty aroma with a nice floral hops. Very creamy roasted malt profile and a nice dose of biscuity sweetness with a light but definately present floral hop finish.

Sep 23, 2007 Bottle. Coppery red with a small, white head. Aroma of doughy malt and a grainy sweetness. A bit of caramel malt in the flavor with a touch of hoppy astringence. Smooth and medium bodied with a long, malty finish. Nice beer but a little more hops than I expect for an Octoberfest.

Sep 23, 2007 Sampled on draught at the Tyranena brewery tap room in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. Pours a clear coppery amber brew with a decent off-white head that quickly dissoloves to a white ring and film top. Aroma of sweetened caramel malt, some flowery hops, a touch of citrus and a hint of some yeast funk. Taste is medium bodied, very light carbonated with some flavors of caramel malt and a burnt citrus character. Finish is smooth, creamy with a slight sweetened and grainy malt. One of the lighter bodied octoberfests this year but still a solid brew.

Sep 18, 2007 Amber color. Smell of spice, caramel, malt, hops and burnt leaves. Taste of malt, citrus, caramel, hops, grass and flowers. Nice and smooth.
