| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 8, 2009 Bottle - Brown pour with a big, frothy head. The nose is pleasant sweet toffee malts -- smells like dessert. Taste is lots of sweet malt and some dry, bitter hops. It’s a little metallic on the finish, but it feels good in the mouth -- creamy and not too much carbonation. Might be a liittle sweet for a session beer, but is a good choice when you want a little dessert taste. hombrepalo (777), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Pours a dark amber, well hazed, with fairly big tannish head, bubbly, that begins to dissipate to a small layer quickly. Not bad. Aromas are light sweetness of bread and biscuits, caramel malts, with a subtle underlying floral and citrus bouquet. A lighter body takes over, packing in punches of flavor in the lighter body, caramel malts mixing with bread, toast, and light biscuits and subtle citrus fruits and small bittering balance on the backend. A bit one-dimensional and thin overall, but quite sessionable and refreshing. Ungstrup (15343), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Does not smell very appealing. Taste is of toasted malt, caramel, and the slightest note of hops. Mouthfeel is crisp, but still kind of bland. What more could be said of this beer?
