While this beer didn’t strike me as being incredibly on-style, it did impress me as being a very tasty amber ale.
Appearance was a sparkling copper red with an abudant white head (good).
Aroma was light and like a very good amber ale (Breckenridge Avalanche comes to mind).
Flavor was malty with a very lightly sweet and sour aftertaste. It was good.
Mouthfeel was light.
Overall, I would recommend this beer.

Aug 28, 2008 12 oz bottle. Dark amber with an off-white head. Biscuity aroma with a hint of hops. Caramel and malty flavors with a bit of bitterness at the end.

Aug 20, 2008 Bottle poured to glass. Pours a deep amber hue with rocky white head. Rich aroma of grains and crisp hops. Smooth malty flavor and soft hops finish.

Unclear medium orange amber color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (130608)

Aug 18, 2008 Bottle pours amber color with with a thin white head. Smells of roasted malt and yeast dominate. Has some roasted malt flavors with some toffee and molasses. Has a medium body with a clean finish. Not too bad.

Jul 19, 2008 pours a semi-transparent amber color with almost no head. scent of wheat, oats, and some roast. taste of wheat, malts, yeast, and some burnt roast with a finish that consists of molases. nice brew.
