Ok so this beer was pretty late in the night and unfortunatley I don’t remember it as well as I should (oops). Pours out a dark brown with light brown fluffy head. Smell is of oak and brandy. Taste is nice with a great oak and brandy combo that are interesting to note on a brown ale, a slight chewiness to it that was actually quite nice

Poured brown with off white head. Aroma of alcohol, dark fruit, and spice. Flavors of sweet malt and fruit with some spiciness. Kind of smoothe but real tasty.

On tap at Tyranena, 6/9 (and in the bottle. Rating from tap, as the tap was better.) Pours a camel brown with notes of sherry and dried fruit on the nose. Leads into cherry and brown sugar, almost reminding me a bit of Barley John’s Rosie’s. Finishes with a pleasant toastiness from the brandy barrels, which I found to be just the right touch of oak, brandy, and beer. Well crafted, just not as extreme as others.

Nice looking, striking bourbon-vanilla aromas. Fruity and sweet. Creeping into barleywine-land. Alcohol burn. Too much bourbon for me.

Bottle from Ryan. Thanks. Pours out a dark brown color with an off white head on it. Smell is full of sweet brandy notes and a touch of smoke. Fruity notes here too, dark fruits, mostly, but alot of brandy over all. Taste is sweet and sticky, no alcohol detected, very good stuff. Brandy barrel beers are way better than bourbon ones. Good stuff, wish I had more.

Very dark amber with a small off white head and light carbonation. Aroma is big malty brandy, woody and light smoke. Flavor is brandy, caramel cherries, creamy vanilla, light smoke. Overall a very rich beer. A creamy warm mouthfeel.

A 12 -oz bottle shared by JK, pours a reddish amber with a thin off-white film coating on top. Aroma of caramel, roasted nute, sweet cherries and grape brandy. Tatse is medium body, light carbonated, with aftertastes of chocolate, caramel and cherries. A very flavorish brew.

Bottle from Iowaherkeye drunk on 5/25. Amber/brown color with small lacing type head. Rich with dark fruit/dark chocolate aroma. Also some wood notes. The tastes was the same with sweet notes of vanilla. This is a great beer!
