Bottle from someone. Harsh, wheaty aroma, a touch of old grape and oak. Not so bad in the taste, but brandy influence is too strong, and the base beer tastes thin and week. Alcohol is dominant. Lightly hoppy. Goes down pretty easy. Not great.

Very nice. Pours brown in color with a small tan head. Nice aroma of brandy and vanilla, maybe a hint of oak. Pleasant alcohol warmth. Tastes of brandy, oak, vanilla, light caramel malt. A great beer.

Aroma of sweet malt and a light hint of abv. A clean cola brown with light an head and sticky lace. A mellow flavoer of buttery malt a nice warmness. Good carbonation just a bit thin and I mean just a bit. A good beer a little warm and a tad thin. thanks Phil

Bottle thanks to Ughsmash: Pours a clear amber brown color with 1 finger milky tan head. Aroma of caremel, toffee and some vanilla oakyness and brandy-bourbon spicyness. Flavor is malty with the oakyness and the brandy/bourbon flavors dominating all though not over the top. Medium creamy body is quite nice also. I wish this was just a little drier and toastier and it would be fantastic.

Aroma is a sweet scent. Color is a deep ruby with light carbonation and thin tight head. Taste is rich and sweet. Starting with a medium body and a rich sweet malt flavor that is a lot like a Barley Wine. Very tasty.

Autumn Brew Review
Very interesting take here. May be the first brandy barrelled brew I’ve sampled. Aromas are vanilla, brandy, caramel, anise. Not too sweet as I expected going in. I’ve been impressed with most of Tyranena’s brewers gone wild series; this one included.

(bottle from j capriotti)clear orange/brown with a light brown ring around the glass.very nice aroma of vanilla, oak, molasses, cotton candy, smoke, and caramel malts.the flavor boasts much of the same along with some brown sugar.the palate is nice and complex and the oak aging compliments and does not overpower.this is yet another fine b.a. beer from tyranena.
