Bottled. A hazy reddish beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, dusty hops, and over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of over ripe fruit.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear, warm, orangey brown with an off-white head leaving a neat lacework. Sweetish aroma of oak and bourbon. Medium body with sweet whiskey notes and some burned caramel. Alcoholic, whiskey-like finish without much bitterness. 171107 Earlier rating:
(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of boboski. Hazy, amber golden with a fairly small, off-white head. Aroma of bourbon and caramel. Medium body, sweet caramel notes, again some bourbon - but presumably it’s brandy?? The finish is dry and somewhat alcoholic. 8/3/7/3/15=3.6 180907

12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy brown with very little lacing head. Heavy brandy aroma with roasted malt note. Brandy chemical alcohol flavour with a persisting roasted malt flavour. End is burned and slight chemical. Not my style, well crafted though.

opaque brown, wispy beige head, streaks of drippy lace, sweet chocolate and vanilla aroma with a candy caramel character, sweet chocolate candy flavor, chewy caramel, lots of sweet brandy, touch of alcohol, touch of bitterness for balance, nice sweet chocolate caramel candies in a glass,

sweet chocolate covered caramel candy aroma, caramel flavor is drying out, still a lot of brandy character, picking up a woody character with a light tartness, sweetness is all but gone, past its prime

sweetness is back and life is good, last bottle must have been the exception

Dark mahogany color with red shades. The aroma is delicate, it shows evident vanilla. Quite round and smooth mouthfeel, sweet flavor, with sweet caramel and vanilla. Probably a too much sweet (and not complex), but still enjoyable for a late evening.

Cloudy dark amber color. Aroma of malt and barrel. The mouthfeel is very sweet, with good caramel flavor and strong Bourbon vanilla too; and a respectable bitterness at the end, when the alcohol is prickling the tongue. Very good.
