Pours betwween a maroon and semi hazed amber with a lasting beige head. Smell is vibrant, sweet fruity hoppiness with an almost tropical leaning. Taste is fruity and hoppy, with lasting bitterness. Some pine and tea flavors as well. Medium bodied and appropriate carbonation. Nice strong bitterness with no astringency. Very clean and easy drinking and although it could be a slight bit richer, this is a fantastic double IPA!

Extreme hop bitterness that needed a little more balance to make it a great beer. Doesnt quite have that juicy thing going for it that allowed hopslam to get away without the balance act. Still solid on all accounts though.

Bottle from trade with Fantomas23. Mostly clear copper color with a thin white soapy head. A dank earthy hop aroma is present over some rich malts, a nice balance, even some peppery notes. Taste is all hop, however, with some real aggressive floral hops coming in on the back end. The finish is strong and lingering. All hop, but another Tyranena brew that I like.

Courtesy of Ughsmash. Pours a dark reddish copper color with a slight head. Light lacing is apparent. Aroma is mostly floral hops. Tastes of sweet hops, sweet malt and caramel, little dark and light fruit, spice. Palate has some lingering spicy hop taste, finishing with some caramel taste.

Pours caramel with a thin white head. Smells of some citrus, roses, caramel, resin. Tastes bitter and earthy with some resiny qualities and some nice tea like flavors. Citrussy finish.

Bottle and served in my GI IPA tulip: A sunset coppery hue topped by a small frothy head which left very good lace upon the glassware. The aroma has notes of resiny ad piney hope, grapefruit and apricot esters, pepper and clove, bready and caramel malts, and a hint of alcohol. The taste starts bitter but mostly balanced with the sweeter malts. Acidic fruit and spice play along as well. The mouth feel is aggressive and sprite, metallic dryness upon the finish. Overall it is a very solid brew that I would try again.

Bottle from Tyler! Color is amber with a small head and good lacing. Smells of hops! Taste is sweet citrus hops. Smooth, but it is heavy. If you are looking for a simple but good Double IPA, this beer is for you. Good Beer!

The color was a beautiful dark orange with floating sediment. The head was thin, creamy, and off-white. The aroma was very hoppy, citris, pine. grape, and apricot. The flavor was complex. It consisted of hops, pine, citris, acidic, and alcohol. The palate was thick-bodeid. The finishw as warm.
