| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 3, 2008 Big sticky resiny hops. Ends on a bitter astringent note. Malts are very minimal, if at all. Meh, just another huge hop IPA. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing really memorable either. Stine (1380), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Pour produces a bronze body that is transparent excepting a suspended cloud of stagnant, thick particles. Sticky lace in abundance. Aroma is soft and earthy; lots of mineral sweetness and bitter yerba relaxes the burly honey and biscuit push. Resinous and zesty, with hints of urinal cake, grapefruit pistachio, and caramel. Punchy grapefruit and lychee flavor gives a feathery texture of floral hop against the back of the mouth; crystal malts linger underneath, but these are so reserved initially that they contribute only a slight and comfortable sweetness of iced tea, though with its usual tactlessness it eventually begins to envelop and suffocate the rest. Palate is medium bodied, gently carbonated and sticky in texture; finishes with lots of bitter pine and lavender, with a bit of alcoholic aerosol interaction. Decent, but hardly well made or memorable. Syd (908), Waconia, Minnesota, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jan 26, 2008 Bottle pours clear red with small head, some lace. The aroma is resinous sticky hops; perhaps some grapefruit in the nose. The flavor is of the same hops found in the aroma with some ale fruitiness. Perhaps some lingering peach flavors. The palate is pretty rich and lightly carbonated. This is good. beerbuzzmontreal (2923), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 17, 2008 Trade from ogglethorp. Thick golded color with smallish off-white head. Big hoppy nose with a hint of mait. Great big hoppy front with medium body. Even with all the hops, still has a tad of malt that mellows out the hops. Very nice. blankboy (3251), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Pours a hazy copper-orange with tons of tiny floaties and a small diminishing off-white head. Aroma: Shazam! -- that’s a powerful hop aroma! Huge, pungent, resiny hops and I love it! Flavour’s also quite hoppy with a huge, long bitter finish. Medium to full bodied. Awesome, I loved it. Firemoose15 (542), Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA
