Sep 23, 2007 Thanks KingpinIPA! Pours a very nice dark amber with minimal head. Smells good too with mostly citus and a hint of grass. Flavor is bitter hops the whole way, especially the finnish. Body is medium/fulll and creamy in texture. This tasted pretty sweet after working 17+ hours.

Sep 19, 2007 (bottle) Pours a dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is slightly muted, but contains some grapefruit. Taste is initially fruity sweet, pineapple maybe, with some caramel as well. There is a slight pause in flavor after this initial sweetness, but in comes a large finish of grain which then yields to a nice bitter grapefruit peel flavor.

Sep 19, 2007 [Bottle] Pours a deep reddish-amber with a small cream head. Aroma is dominated by, big surprise, citrusy hops. Taste is bitter at first, then citrusy, then grain. Medium mouthfeel. Decent finish. Not bad, didn’t amaze though.

Sep 19, 2007 Pours a nice deep golden amber and orange with no head. Super powerful grapefruit and orange as well as a very light sweet malt backbone. Love this super grapefruity hoppy deliciousness. Great balance and a killer finish.

Sep 18, 2007 Pretty tasty. Wonderful aroma of hops and citrus. Pours orange amber with a tight white head. Moderate lacing. Taste was slightly off with a metallic hint at first, then settling off with a bitterness that lingered.

Sep 16, 2007 This Imperial India Pale Ale pours a deep orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is piney hops, caramel, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied double IPA. The malts are very sweet, caramel, toffee and fruity. The hops are piney and grapefruity. Lots of hop flavors and bitterness, nicely balanced by some fairly assertive sweet malt. Lively carbonation. Nice Imperial IPA, the hop bitterness is kind of aggressive. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is bitter.

Sep 14, 2007 Bottle courtesy of kingpinipa. Nice floral, grassy hop notes when cold, but turns into a bitter aspirin flavor when warmer. Good representation of the style, just keep it cold.
