beer that On tap at the brewery. Good to see this back. Of the Brewers Gone Wild series, Hop Whore is the beer that disappears most quickly from my refrigerator. It reminds me of the "wannabe" that was intended to be the re-released Bitter Woman from Hell. Hop Whore is balanced and unusually drinkable for the style. Alcohol at about 7 or 8 percent.

clear amber, pours a big fine beige head leaving behind nice lace, sweet fruity pine aroma with soft floral hops, creamy body, medium hop flavor on a nice sweet carmel malt base, touch of sticky sweet pine sap, good fruity character shows up after warming, nice bitter finish but much more flavor than bitterness, very drinkable for an IIPA as it does not overwhelm in any aspect but just intensifies as it warms

Amber color, steady creamy beige head. Rye bread - fruity - hoppy aroma. Very strong nose. Medium to full bodied. Nice fruity hoppy flavor. Lemon and pine needles. Despite of name: this is not overly aggressive, quite pleasant.

Bottled (thanks heemer77!). Hazy nutbrown colour with mediumsized beige bubbly/foamy head. Aroma is grassy and hoppy along with some fudge and even more hops. Flavour is very grassy hoppy along with lots of caramel and fruits coming in. Really fruity and nice aftertaste.

Had this strait outta the BRITE tank at the brewery....how many people can say that?? i thought so. This was the new batch that will be released next week as its coming back to the BGW series. Hops o plenty, ton of hop aroma and hops kick ya in the thoat. All hops without the sweetness...just the way i like it. I need an air freshner that smells of this brew. excellent

This beer was very similar to a hoppy barley-wine; and didn’t strike me much like a DIPA. It didn’t have a sweet hop character; instead it seemed very malty and balanced to me which while tasty, seems a bit of a disappointment for a beer of this style with this name. I was expecting a citrusy/piney/grapefruity/sweet punch of hop, and instead I got a very balanced beer with a lot of malt. Appearance was bright orange with about 4cm of head (perfect for a 12 oz beer in a 16 oz glass). This beer smelled like a hoppy barleywine; there was a syrupy (yet not sweet) hoppiness balanced with malt. Flavor was as I described above. Mouthfeel was somewhat sticky and pleasant.

12 oz bottle from my Secret Santa - thanks to whoever you are! Dark amber pour topped by a tan head. Big perfumey pine nose, sweet caramel and peach. Thick bodied, a bit oily. Peach and apricot flavors are quickly blasted away by the biting pine resin and firm, sweet caramel. Seems to walk the IPA/barley wine line, a big beer. Solid drier than expected finish. Oddly, this left me a bit flat, and I’m not sure why.

Thanks to CaptainCougar for this one. Pours a nice brown color with a small, tan head. Smell has a fairly nice toffee note and just a hint of pine. The taste is fairly soft for what I would think a DIPA would taste like. I notice a bit of caramel, toffee, a bit of rye, and a hint of pine. As I continue to drink, the pine really starts to show through and the beer becomes pretty sticky. This one is a easy drinking IPA, a nice beer indeed.
