| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 26, 2009 Pours a clear copper-amber with a rather large, frothy, foamy, soapy, beige head. Leaves beautiful thick rings of lacing. Pungent aroma of earthy, floral, almost musty hops, with plenty of pine and citrus too. Some sweet, barley wine-esque malt is also detectable. The flavor is, at first, sweet and malty, with toffee and caramel. Then a blast of alphas and hop flavors take charge, nice peppery pine-citrus mix with what seems like added spices. Slightly oily with a medium body and light carbonation. Another impressive treat from Tyranena.

Hops are fresh on the tongue and powerful with a simply perfect malt bill. Well done. 13mikey (147), New Hope, Minnesota, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 22, 2009 12 oz bottle from Princeton’s. Nice dark golden color, pillowy white head with very nice lacing. Aroma is wonderful citrus, floral hoppy. Those notes come through in the flavor as well with a nice bitter bite and the finish lingers bitter on your tongue. This is a fantastic beer! alexsdad06 (1081), Ohio, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 21, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy amber color with a small, foamy off white head that dissipates quickly to leave a frothy crown. The aroma has a moderate amount of sweet caramel malts as well as orange citrus hops and a touch of alcohol. The flavor has deeply rich caramel/toffee malts and a smooth, citrusy hop presence. This beer has a strong flavor, but the alcohol isn’t apparent in the flavor. This beer is pretty full bodied to the point it is almost chewy. However, it is at the same time quite soft, smooth, and creamy on the palate. I don’t know what the abv is on this, but it is scary drinkable for an imperial IPA. madmitch76 (619), , Essex, England

Pours a clear pale copper amber color with some dark golden orange hues when held to a light source and a one finger off-white head that quickly settles into a lasting ring.
Sweet citrus hop aroma with a lot of dank oily floral hops. I’m not sure when this one was brewed but it smells incredibly fresh. Hints of orange and lemon peel as well as some dry earthy pine. Slight caramel backbone which is kind of toasty with hints of biscuit and graham cracker. Very subtle alcohol.
Very fresh with a lot of dank resinous dry floral hops. Slightly creamy mouthfeel with a good bit of graham cracker and caramel biscuity malt but the flavor here is dominated by dry piny hops. Lots of citrus flavor, especially lemon/orange peel and grapefruit. Slight alcohol warmth toward the end of the swallow and in the finish but overall the ABV is well masked. This beer is dangerously drinkable with plenty of awesome dry hoppy flavor. Man, I wish that they brewed this all of the time and that I had better access to this brewery.
