Pours a lightly hazy golden brown with a thick pillowy off white head. Aroma is spicy and very pumpkin, more so than many of the other pumpkin ales. Lots of cinnamon and ginger in there. Flavor is again, very pumpkin, and lots of sweet pumpkin pie sugars. Nice maltiness in the finish, like the crust of the pie. Just a hint of bitterness from the hops lingers. Medium to full creamy body and a soft pleasant carbonation. Really nice dessert beer, very true to the pumpkin spice. Headbanger (1597), Aurora, Illinois, USA
