Pours a deep orange color with a nice lingering head. Flavor is soft bready malts, residual sugars, pumpkin, and some nice pumpkin pie spice to top it off. Just the right medium body thickness and carbonation to make this one a winner. Definitely one of the better pumpkin beers out there along with the likes of Pumking. incutrav (577), Woodbury, Minnesota, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 12, 2008 Sample at Heritage, what a deal! Really tried hard to get a growler of this, to no avail. Smells of rich pumpkin and spices. Lots of pumpkin flavor in there, along with nutmeg, cinammin, but not overpowering. So drinkable, unlike ST Pumking, which is awesome, but gets to be a bit much towards the end of a bomber. Just awesome stuff. They really need to make this a BGW brew Skyview (4111), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA

Pours a clear copper amber brew with a creamy off-white head that has some nice retention and excellent lacing. Aroma of caramel malt with plenty of pumpkin spices of nutmeg, cinnamon, a touch of clove and raisin mincemeat. Taste is medium bodied, very light carbonation with a good balance of caramel and multi-grain malt, pumpkin, nutmeg, raisin and cinnamon. Finish is smooth, creamy with a nice caramel and pumpkin pie filling along with a mild bitterness. One of the best balanced pumpkin beers I have tried. Guerde (710), Welcome, Minnesota, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 1, 2009 (growler from Skyview at the Farewell to Lex/Larp Cellars event) Pours dark copper with a medium off-white head that leaves a thin film on top. Good spice and pumpkin aroma, so much so that it almost smelled like one of those fake pumpkin pie candles. Spice aromas of nutmeg and a bit of cinnamon as well. The taste is just really great for a pumpkin beer, with a lot of baked pumpkin flavor that then changes to more of a sweet and lightly bitter/spiced finish. The mouthfeel is medium and the carbonation is smooth. I’m normally a little more biased when it comes to pumpkin beers, and this beer really nails it in the flavor department. Well done indeed. Thanks Bob! LtJudge (435), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA

Wonderful aromas of pumpkin, nutmeg, clove and cinnamon. Taste is of pumpkin and spices. What I was most impressed with is the incredibly smooth as silk mouthfeel. Leaves a wonderful pumpkin flavor aftertaste as well. Kudos! . brewblackhole (1386), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 10, 2008 Never has been my favorite style, but this one was pleasant, thanks to a growler bought by LT Judge. Distinct pumpkin, your nutmeg and cinnimon but not in that fake smelling aroma,so prevelant in other Pumpkin brews. Taste was a slighly sweet malt, with the background of the spices, despite its well formed head ,it had a soothing smoothness to it. I actually had a second glass of this, thats a first for me with a Pumpkin. BVery (674), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 2, 2009 Growler courtesy of Skyview. Copper color with a medium head. Aroma of cloves and alspice. It tastes like it does have some pumpkin in the beer and not just spice, though not nearly as much as Pumpking. Ginger and alspice dominate.
