Bottle 12oz. - Poured clear dark copper color with small white head that quickly fades.
Aroma - spice, cloves, pumpkin and some cinnamon.
Flavor - Initial clove/ginger taste finishing with pumpkin and cinnamon taste.
Palate - Medium bodied beer with below average carbonation. Finish is kinda dry and has little aftertaste.
Overall - Drinkable brew and tastes more like 4% abv. instead of 7.5%. Pumpkin spice was a little much in finish!

Dec 13, 2009 bottle at bman1113vr tasting in dallas. The most dissapointed i’ve ever been with a tyranena beer. Pours orangey amber with no head. Nose is on the better side, lots of pumpkin. Taste is pumpkiny, and ok.

Dec 13, 2009 Bottle - Clear copper pour with a nice foamy tan head. Smell is a bit off -- sour malt and light pumpkin pie spice, a touch of hops, and a bit of skunkiness. It doesn’t seem to be able to make up it’s mind about whether it’s a pumpkin beer or a sweet, malty beer. Taste is better, with tons of caramel and a bit of nutmeg and cloves. There’s a little stale hop bitterness on the finish, and it’s smooth and silky in the mouth. Overall, not bad, but not one that I would repeat next year given all the fall seasonals I’d like to sample.

Dec 1, 2009 Bottle thanks to brigadier. Pours with a clear golden body and a minimal white head. Aroma of wheat, nutmeg, caramel and spice. Taste is pumpkin, vegital, watery and nutty. Light bubbles. Not on par with some other pumpkin beers.

Nov 27, 2009 Tap at Happy Gnome. Pours amber color with a short lived head. Aroma of pumpkin and spice. The flavor is much the same. As a pairing with the cheese plate, it was sublime! Yes, have this and St. Peter Blue Cheese and go to heaven.

Nov 16, 2009 Tap. pour is orange with small white head. Lots of pumpkin and holiday spice in the aroma of this one. Malt also present but certainly takes a back seat. Flavor is pumpkin pie all over the place. Very strong spice, lots of sweet pumpkin and light malt background. This is definitely one for the pumpkin lovers.

Nov 15, 2009 pored amber to orange with frothy off white head aromas of malts.pumpkin and spices flavors are of the same with some carmel sweetness ok so its not bad but I have had better pumpkin brews
