Aug 7, 2009 Deep bronw pour with hints of red with a ceamy tan head and lace. Roasted malt and chocolate aroma. Light roasted malt, and chocolate flavor. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Pretty complex offering but I got no cherry.

Aug 1, 2009 A good porter. Quite thick and almost no carbonation. Aroma of roasted grain and malt. Moderately roasted flavor, and just a light hint of cherry so this isn’t really a fruit beer. Black and thick.

Jul 30, 2009 Dark pour with a little off white head. Roasted chocolate smell with a little cherry in there. Flavor is the same, although I didn’t get much from cherry in this beer.

Jul 25, 2009 12oz bottle. Pretty dark pour, just a hint of light shining through the edges, my brother said it loked like rootbeer. Aroma has a slight cherriness too it, some roastiness and chocolate as well. Dry, with a slight tartness too it, more roastiness, a little coffee and bitter chocolate, didn’t get much cherry though.

Jul 24, 2009 Poured almost black with a beige head. Chocolate aroma with mild notes of cherry. Some ash. The flavor had nice cherry with some roasted malt filling in the middle and end. Light to medium bodied.

Jul 16, 2009 nose is mostly java with a subtle and bitter touch of cherry. apperanance is pitch black with filthy thin head. flavor is vastly of coffee with honestly very little cherry, if any. well developed roast dominates the flavor, this does not come across as having any kind of real fruit flavor. still a really solid porter however!

Jul 14, 2009 Thanks again to Terminus for sharing this one. Pours very dark with a tan / brown head that leaves pretty quick. The aroma has cream, roasty malt, char, ice cream malt and milk chocolate. Medium / full body with some harshness and light spritzy carbonation. The flavor starts with charred malt, hints of cherry, light sweetness, some woodiness and light cream. The finish is dry and charred to hell and last forever. A solid offering.
