Black color with a thin head. Good aroma of heavily roasted coffee and dark chocolate. Holy crap... the roasted malts absolutely dominate the flavor. Coffee and a bit of lactose sweetness, but overall this is like chewing on a spoonful of roasted barley. Yum. MatSciGuy (641), Rosemount, Minnesota, USA

Best balanced coffee stout I’ve had so far and not as thin mouthfeel. Obviously coffee, caramel, some hops, and cannabis. This is a fantastic beer. Skyview (4111), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA

On draught at the brewery’s taproom only, pours an opaque dark brown brew with a creamy off-white head that slowly dissipates to a lumpy light tan ring and film top. Aroma of toasted dark malt, coffee, a touch of molasses and some flowery hops. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with roasted dark malt, coffee, a touch of mild chocolate and some flowery hops. Finish is mildly bitter with a dark malt and mild coffee aftertaste that quickly disappears after the finish. Not over the top coffee flavor but a nice balanced flavored dry stout with coffee. brewblackhole (1386), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA

Aroma dominated by fresh ,solid roastedness, fragrant like fresh ground coffee beans, yum, exactly what you want in your dry stouts, porters etc. Taste is pure roasted malt and barley, texture is smooth ,with a little bit of a carbonic bite in the finish. This bite ,along with the bitterness of the roastedness really drys it out, leaving a little bitterness on the palate and an impression of thinness. The roasted taste is as good as I’ve tasted in this style, American or Irish, mouthfeel, well I still say it should have been nitroed. JPDIPSO (4944), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA

Aromas of dark malt, berries, dark fruit, dark chocolate and dark roasted nuts. The flavors match with the aromas. This has been aged a year and has mellowed nicely.
