12 oz bottle courtesy of Bockeyhorsey. First beer I have been able to enjoy from my homeland of Wisconsin as I left before drinking age. Nose of alcohol, burbon to be specific and dark fruit. Pours a nice deep brown with nice some lacing. Nice burbon flavor, not overwhelming. Medium body with a nice malty burbon finish. Really nice. Thanks Bill!!

12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with ogglethorp. Pours a clear deep red with a thin head that completely disappeared before the first sip. Pleasant aroma caramel, bourbon and vanilla. A bit less flavorful than the aroma suggested with notes of caramel and bourbon. A little light bodied for a brown ale and a tad thin at the finish.

Small serving during 11-30-07 tasting at the Lex-Larp Cellars as I joined joet and the Twin Cities crew. Poured from a 12 oz. bottle. Sweet, chocolatey aroma, somewhat reminiscent of that of an abbey dubbel. Clear and reddish brown in appearance. Beige head. Sweet taste. Bourbon noticeable in the flavor. I’m going to have to return to this beer because my notes are weak.

Bottles courtesy of Ughsmash and buckybeer. Aroma has big nut brown character up front, bourbon/butter like sweetness in the background. Flavor is dominated by bourbon. Huge oak/wood presence and not much else. Decent mouthfeel, but thins out near the finish.

Deep red pour. 1 mm head. Faint aroma of caramel. Interesting flavor. Very light bourbon, some sour fruit, little to no hop prescence. Pretty light bodied. Kind of interesting.

Smell of bourbon, black cherries. Bitter-sweet cherry and burnt toffee flavors. Molasses/brown sugar finish.
