| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 9, 2007 Aroma is a sweet malt scent with back tones of vanilla. Color is a brown amber with low carbonation and a nice tight head. Taste is wow. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a rich feel. Finish is a bold caramel, bourbon and vanilla flavor backed by a faint bitterness. This is an amazing tasting beer. grimreeser (797), Minnesota, USA

Aroma is caramel with a little bourbon and a touch of vanilla. Very sweet, not a whole lot to balance it. Seemed slightly watery. Solid and slightly different brown. Pretty standard for a brown with just enough oak poking through to make it interesting. scoobysnak (249), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA
