Pours a dark brownish color with a red tint and a medium beige head. Aroma of nuts, caramel, chocolate and a hint of vanilla. Taste is nutty with a mild vanilla and bourbon flavor to it. A little more alcohol would make this better.

12 oz bottle served at refrigerator temperature. Poured a clear orange-brown color. Head was foamy and light tan with decent retention. Subdued aroma of vanilla and brown sugar with a whiff of plum and bourbon. The aromas strengthened as the beer warmed a were joined by a pleasant whiff of dried cherry and chocolate. Slightly sweet on the tongue. Earthy woody flavors with distinct, but light, bourbon accented by vanilla, almond, and brown sugar. Pretty good.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of Bockyhorsey - Pours a hazy brown color with a half finger thick off white head. Light spotty lacing. Aroma is toasted malt, oak/bourbon, and vanilla. Quite nice! Flavor is light malt and oak. Palate is watery. Light body. A decent Brown. Thanks Bill and Wendy.

Dark, brownish color. Smell of malt, oak, nuts, vanilla, bourbon, caramel and a touch of hop. Tastes the same but when warm bourbon is more flavorful. I had this before on tap at Tyranena and that is when its the best.

Bottle courtesy of Lucy Saunders. Ruby brown body with a small off white head that fades. Aroma is a pleasant boozy vanilla fiesta. Hints of almonds and expensive ice cream sundae. (7+) Flavour is a bit muddled, with similar notes of vanilla, with caramel as well. Flavour gets boozy quickly, with mild woody undertones. Alcoholic vanilla eventually dominates the flavour. Average palate is under carbonated, but creamy. This is fairly nice, but a bit overpowering at times.

Bottle. Nose of sweet malt, oak and just a hint of alcohol. Pours brown with amber highlights. Sticky white lacing. Odd flavor profile: sweet then dry. Rich then watery and metallic. Lots of flavor, but doesn’t really come together well. Rich and creamy on the palate, but lacks carbonation. Finishes sticky and boozy. A bit disjointed and not wholly balanced.
