Pours out a nice orange color with a white head on it which disappears very quick. Smell is some hops, sweet, sugars, some citrus flavors. Taste is similar to every other IPA I have ever drank. I was hoping the orange peel would make it stand out, but the orange peel actually does nothing because you cant even taste it. A disappointment, considering this is one of their brewers gone wild beers. NobleSquirrel (1114), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 24, 2008 Bottle from Piggly Wiggly. Pour is deep copper, quite clear. Nice head. Nose is citric, but also sweet and sugary. Taste is similar, too sweet, though nice citric quality and comfortable bitterness. Decent, but not amazing. badgerben (3600), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 23, 2008 Amber red with an orange tinted head. Nice thick lacing. Very clear. Aroma is not strong but offers grapefruit and some caramel. A surprisingly limited tartness to the taste. Perhaps some sugar along with the caramel malt. Still, grapefruit and pine hop flavors dominate. Orange is noticed but faint. Very smooth feel. Bitterness is moderate. An excellent IPA in every category. Oakes (8093), gone rambling, Vietnam
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 21, 2008 Golden-amber colour. Fresh, orangey grapefruity nose is almost candyish. Crisp, dry, some chewy breadcrust malt adn bright orange, grapefruit and citrus notes. Good balance, fruity and fresh. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 20, 2008 Bottle. Clear dark amber body under a white head. Sweet crystal malt and grapefruit flesh hopping in the nose. The flavor brings out bitter citrus hops up front followed by orange peel - wraps up with lingering bitterness and crystal malt. I could have done with less crystal in this thing it would have let the hops shone through a bit more. Beershine (2710), Where Climate Suits My Clothes, Vietnam
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 20, 2008 At Vero. Coppery gold, bright hue. Lovely fruity nose bursting with tropical fruit. Gorgeous. Smooth, lovely. Esters fade into a well-structured balanced background. Absolutely lovely IPA with excellent lingering hop finish. Schroppfy (1813), Ohio, USA

Dark gold, nice head, great, super tiny-bubbled sustain on the head. Big pine and citrus nose, wet earth. Citrus, bitter flavor, comes in waves, with a nice little sourdough bread component too. Easy to drink. Not thin but not thick either, luscious mouthfeel.
