What a lovely IPA. Pours clear bronze with a dense soapy tan head. The aroma has some dank funky hops, caramel malt, hints of dry orange peel and some sweetness. Medium / thick body that is grainy and resiny with moderate semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with lots of orange peel that’s dry and blends well with the hops. The malt is mainly in the background in the taste. The finish has some spicy hops an a touch of sweetness. This is a great IPA.

12oz bottle courtesy of the mother in law. Good pine and citrus aromas. Darker orange body with off white head and lacing. Flavor is dry hop bitter with some citrus orange and sugary syrupy malt. Thicker malt texture that takes away the crisp IPA palate but good refreshment.

Bottle: Aroma is loud orange and pine hops, caramel and biscuit malts. Taste is dry, bitter pine and orange peel (yes, I actually taste a bitter orange peel), more biscuit malt. Finish is a touch astringent, dry, bitter pine. Very solid.

gtmw 08....clear medium caramel brown pour.... mild tropical fruit hops in the nose.... more tropical and citrus hops in the flavor profile with a slight bitterness on the backend.....need to get a full pour of this for a better rating as i was kind of rushed with this one as drewbeerme was rating everything in his digital voice recorder. what a nerd.

Big thanks to Gillard for pulling out this “wants list” beer tonight. Pours crystal clear copper with thin off white head. The aroma is a load of citrus, sweet orange juice, sweet tangelo and sugar coated grapefruit wedges. There’s a bit of sugary sweet malts too. The taste is the much the same as the nose with full rich tasty citrus and levels of grapefruit sweetened by malts and maybe some late addition hopping. Riding beneath the hops is an ever present current of sweetness that fails to keep pace with a growing hop bitterness into the finish and after taste. I could easily drink this stuff all the time.

Bottle courtesy of thecheeseman. Pours orange/amber with off white head. Big piney and grapefruit aromas. Wow, I wasn’t expecting it to be this good. Flavors of sweet grapefruit, citrus and malt. A very good IPA. Medium body with lively carbonation and a sticky mouthfeel.

Poured an amber color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, pine, herb, caramel malts, citrus fruits, and toasted dough. Taste of caramel, toffee, toast, citrus fruits, pine, orange peel, and grapefruit, with medium bitterness in the finish.
