Pours an orange fiery amber, decent haze, with big tannish head tha laces well and cakes. Aromas take on a very good orange and grapefruit hoppiness, pushing some carmel and orage marmalade with a touc of pine. Smells promising. Initia pushes more carmel and orage marmalade with moderate hop pesence of grapefruit. Sweeter than hoped for lacking true hopbite. Perhaps a bit faded. Lighter bodied than most, pushing some good flavors, but lacking the hop pesence hoped for. Finish is sweet, with light bitterness lingering. Ok, perhaps a bit old but flavorful. Aroma - citrus hops, oranges and caramel malt.
Flavor - really great orange flavor, it mixes well with the malt and hops. Has a great hop bite with awesome bitter finish.
Palate - medium bodied, creamy on the tongue. Finish is slightly dry and bitter. The orange peel lingers in aftertaste...GOOD STUFF!!!!!
Overall - Awesome IPA with great flavor. Tyranena is quickly becoming my favorite brewer in Wisconsin!! radiomgb (2057), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 26, 2009 Deep clear copper in colour with a large, lingering off-white head, good lacing. The aroma is very citrusy with lots of oranges, mild sweetness, pine and grapefruits. The flavour is generously hopped with a moderate sweetness, very juicy, lots of oranges. Bitter hoppy mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes long, juicy and very hoppy.
This is quite hoppy but it has some fairly good balance to it. I very big IPA.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 10, 2009 2008 Bottle - Thanks buckybeer! - Pours a semi-transparent lt orange with a large, lasting off white head...aroma is hop bitters, a bit of spice, and tropical fruit...flavour is nicely bitter on the front end, pithy, but not altogether unpleasant, i get subtle orange in the aftertaste...a bit astringent in the finish, the bitters on the end are more burnt sugar than hop...still a fun brew...! mnovacanes (49), Munster, Indiana, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 4, 2009 Appearance: Dark, reddish hue; perhaps a slight orange tint; pretty clear; poor head stand for an ipa
Aroma: very unique aroma; orange zest aroma is definitely present; maybe more summit hops than simcoe on the nose
Flavor: High hop flavor; simcoe makes its presence felt; plenty of pine and resin; orange provides more of an accent on the palate; it works very well! love the summit hops in this one; definitely can notice the dry hopping; quite different from the aroma
Palate: smooth, creamy texture; medium body; moderate astringency; low carbonation; mouthfeel is reminiscent of dogfish 90-minute ipa! after4ever (2806), Brier, Washington, USA

Short-lived stringy white head and lace. Big tangy orange nose with some peach and apricot under that. Creamy medium body, well-placed carb. A bit of brown bread under a nice wash of orange, peach, and apricot. Very refreshing, interesting, and drinkable. Rciesla (3770), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 23, 2009 Bottle an extra i believe. Pours an amber orange body with a white lifeless lacing. Huge malty caramel, citrus, orange peel. Light dusty floral body with some light breadiness and a bit bitter to finish. Good. emacgee (1892), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 8, 2009 I believe KP brought this to the Pre Sex gathering. Poured a copper gold with a thin offwhite head. The nose was citrusy, showed some mango, very fruity, mild sweetness coming through, orange shows nicely and compliments well. The flavor is citrusy, orange compliments the hops well, compounded bitterness from the orange peel and hops, some mango.
