12 ounce bottle. Shaker. Cloudy brown with a thin head. Aroma - malted milk balls candy. I love a good doppelbock. This was merely average. Tasted of sweet malt, caramel and brown sugar. Not bad, but there are so many good ones out there.

Bottle from Skyview. Brown ruby with a very thin off white head. Aroma is malty, with light alcohol, plums, a bit doughy also. Taste is malty, light toffee, and caramel, dried fruit. Nice body.

12oz bottle mother in law bought for me. A toasted sweet malted caramel aroma. Dark amber body with beige color head that didn’t last long. Flavor had an overwhelming sweetness for my palate. Alright if you like the style.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of Bockyhorsey - Pours a hazy deep amber color with a thin off white head. Very light spotty lacing. Aroma is toasted caramel malt. Flavor is strong caramel malt and light esters. Palate is slightly bitter and thin. A decent beer. Thanks Wendy and Bill.

Brownish amber color. Smell of sugar, honey, caramel, some fruit, malt and graham crackers. Taste of malt, brown sugar, toffee, caramel, toast, minor dark fruit and a semi sweet aftertaste at the end. As it warmed up also, some nuts came into the picture.

Picked up the last six pack at Jakes Liquors in Manitowoc, WI. Pours a clear dark brown amber brew with a beige head that dissolves quickly to a fine ring and fair lacing. Aroma of caramel, dark dried pitted fruit, and a touch of citrus. Taste is medium/full bodied, sweet caramel, and lightly carbonated. Finish is sweet and a slight raisin aftertaste.

Well done, if unremarkable. They weren’t trying to do anything crazy but made a solid beer. Caramel aroma, and lots of it. Caramel in the flavor as well. Some sweet malt, a little cherry, and salt flavors.
