I love a good doppelbock. This was merely average. Tasted of sweet malt, caramel and brown sugar. Not bad, but there are so many good ones out there.

Pours a clear dark brown amber brew with a beige head that dissolves quickly to a fine ring and fair lacing. Aroma of caramel, dark dried pitted fruit, and a touch of citrus. Caramel aroma, and lots of it. Caramel in the flavor as well. Some sweet malt, a little cherry, and salt flavors.
