Very nice hoppy aroma, resiny over all, but also a bit fruity. Quite good body strength, very good flavor, of caramel, sweetish, with a good hopping, partially resiny and fruity. Very good. madcow75 (425), Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 14, 2007 Thanks to CaptainCougar for this. Pours a rusty burnt orange with an large creamy off-white head. Aroma is like sugar coated citrus fruits: A good mix of orange, grapefruit, the general smell of the fruit section of the produce department, brown sugar and caramel. As malty as it is hoppy. Malt flavor is the same as the aroma, but the hops become a bit earthier and more bitter. Finishes with grapefruit flavor and a bit of char on the throat and back of the tongue. Carbontion is medium, mouthfell is plenty full and slightly sticky. The flavors are very pleasurable, but I think the hops are too bitter-centric and the beer lacks finesse and softness, despite a creamy mouthfeel. Good, but with flaws. highibus (432), Mill Creek, Washington, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 8, 2007 Pours a hazy ruby red. Two finger head with nice lacing. Grapefruit and some flowers. Medium body, slightly chewy. Nice overall flavor with plenty of hops. Unfortunately, I think my mouth was too clean and I am not getting all of this one. Thanks to Bockeyhorsy for this one!! | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 3, 2007 Copper coloured, totally clear and wearing a tiny off-white foam. Alcoholic and strong nose, quite heady. A blast of crystal malts, fully sugary, rough caramel malt base. Syrupy, growing sheets of bitterness certainly dominate their aromatic counterpart. Untight carbonation, syrupy texture. Aggressive grapefruity finish slashes through the rough syrupiness. Unpalatable. Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark

Light caramel malt, citric, floral hop aroma and a caramel malt, citrus, peach, dry bitter taste. Medium body with a very bitter dry finish. Papsoe (14997), Frederiksberg, Denmark
