| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 7, 2007 Bottle from Tytoanderso - Thanks! Pours a light copper color with a small beige head. Nose is lightly hoppy, citrus and florals, some maltiness. Flavor is kind of middle of the road IPAish with the hops not really outlasting the caramel malt. This could easily be a daily drinker - not the hopped up rebel I’d hoped for. Nephilium (553), Ohio, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 6, 2007 Strong citrus hop aroma, pours a cloudy red with about half an inch of slightly off-white head. Almost no initial flavor, everything is in the mouthfeel and finish for this beer. Strong hop bitterness balanced on a strong malt backbone. A very tasty IPA BückDich (4848), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 6, 2007 Bottle: Pours a copper color with a light nice head. The nose is hoppy, fairly sprucy and spicy with a moderately dry caramel malt note up front. The flavor is lightly bitter, plenty of dry hops and a caramelly sticky mouthfeel. Decent IPA with a robust body and a creamy tail. Nice. Thanks Jeremy. IndianaRed (1555), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 6, 2007 Clear medium orange copper with a small fleeting sandy colored head. Light malty aroma and a big piney bitter flavor. Light and a bit thin on the palatte. Ibrew2or3 (2761), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 6, 2007 Courtesy of jarlbartar, thanks buddy. 12oz bottle pours pale copper with one inch light tan head and nice lacing. The aroma has solid grapefruit and orange rind citrus hops along with mild malt sweetness. The initial taste is just a bit watery and neutral. That sensation only lasted a moment when grapefruit hop bitterness and sweeter citrus hop flavor smothered it. A mild malt sweetness joins in as well as un-ripe orange and grapefruit hop bitterness that build into the finish. bboeckl (135), Grafton, Wisconsin, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Oct 27, 2007 bottle. Poured a deep golden amber with a slight reddish hugh. Excellent light tan head that holds. Lace stockings could not have more lacing! A taste reveals, hops--herbal, pine, evergreen. This is the trademark IPA bitter. A second taste reveals sugar--honey, carmel, candy. Some citrusy and fruit notes present. Another great beer from the "brewers gone wild" series. Keep us the good work Tyranena! I would drink again. Nose is sweet and hoppy reminiscent of east coast hoppy beers. Taste is hoppy, bitter and well balanced with some nice malt kick. Nice beer.
