Aroma of grass, citrus, and caramel. Flavor of caramel malt and hops (grapefruit, grass). PorterPounder (3132), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 15, 2009 Eagan, Mn - Cellars Wines and Spirits - 12 oz bottle. Dark golden pour with persistent medium thick white head. Sticky sweet aroma with hints of citrus and pine. flavor is pleasant and muted with some brief nuttiness and citrus to keep it interesting. Mouthfeel leaning a bit to the high carbonated spectrum - but not a major distraction. ericandersnavy (1039), crossroads, Texas, USA Aug 5, 2009 bottle thanks to bu11zeye. poured gold with a white head and some spotted lacing left behind. aroma of citrus and light grains. flavor was citrus, grains, and some pine. light body with high carbonation. not bad but not great. satan165 (541), River Grove, Illinois, USA Aug 1, 2009 nose of pilsner-ish pale malt and some hops. flavor is an interesting mix and near balance of the same two elements. the extremely light malt character does not lend itself well to the hops, which present an offputting bitterness. well hopped pales can be a great thing, but subtle delicate malt such as this should be treated accordingly, not kicked and beaten. alexsdad06 (1056), Ohio, USA Jul 25, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear golden orange color with a small white head. The aroma tends toward the pale malt and citrus hops, but is not very strong at all. The flavor is pale and bready malt, slightly toasted, citrus hops with mild sweetness and a decent bitterness to the finish. This was refreshing on a warm day, but not a must have. mar (1740), Rowlett, Texas, USA Jul 17, 2009 bottle thanks to bu11zeye. light amber with an off white head. nose is light citrus hops and not much else. very nice on the palate with a smooth, crisp hop flavor.
