Good aroma, quite similar to the Summit EPA i thought, very smooth and drinkable with good balance and nothing offensive. Nice solid brew overall, no complaints, but not amazing...but i havent had a pale ale that i thought was amazing OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA

Pours golden with a fair white head that fades back to a ring but leaves nice lace on the shaker. Aromas of slight grapefruit, some crisp grain, and some grassy notes. Flavor is grainy with good grapefruit, pineapple, and grassy notes. Crisp and clean on the palate and quite drinkable. MilkmanDan (1940), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 12, 2006 Light gold. Nose slightly citric, not too much going on. Flavor is a bit muted, some grapefuit and pine, but not all that much bite to it. Malts are a mite underdone. Pretty much a generic APA. buckybeer (666), Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 3, 2006 Pours a light golden color with almost no head. I did not detect much of an IPA aroma. I got more of a wheat and corn aroma. Flavor is slightly tart with very mild hops. Pretty good actually. chimpscampee (566), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Nice citrus and grass/leaf notes. One of my favorite styles and above average. Jabswitch (215), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 11, 2006 The aroma got my first experience with this brew off to a good start. Nice hoppy and piney. But the taste was rather flat and didn’t have that little jolt that I like in this genre. It is very drinkable, but just a little flat and slightly bland for a pale ale. Flavor continues with muted grapefruit and sequestered hops which is just fine in an APA. Bitterness pretty much throughout peaking in the finish. JCapriotti (1378), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
