Some grapefruit aroma arising above a lagerish smell. Light mouthfeel with strong carbonation and carbonation bubbles that satisfy palate but are a tad aggressive on the tongue. Dry bitter aftertaste. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 10, 2006 From a 12 oz. twist cap stubby brown bottle with a story on the left side of label and a short blurb on the right, no bottled/freshness date.
Made a very good appearance, poured a slightly hazy golden hued orange with a fluffy white head, good retention and lacing, good carbonation.
Had a nose of sweet pale malts and a leafy citric hops with a few notes of melons.
A crisp, lightly textured and creamy smooth medium bodied mouth feel, high drinkability.
Good balance between hops and malts, citric and honey dew melon fruity, good soft rolling bitterness on the tongue, backed a sweet maltiness along with a touch of butteriness, a light leafiness shows up towards the end and dry citric bitter and malty finish, quite tasty.
A nice and quaffable APA from Tyranena, fast becoming one of my favorite Great Lakes/Midwest brewers.

Nice fruity hop aroma with hints of malty sweetness. Golden color with slight haze. Well balanced flavor, could have used more hops, imo. Nice clean finsh.
Enjoyable. brewblackhole (1385), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA

Took a sip and I was releaved to find it was actually not skunky at all. Nice pale color with little froth. Medium nectar. Perfectly ballanced and smooth. I enjoyed it mucho. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 13, 2006 Slighly hazy honey colored body with a small white head. Faint notes of citrus, dough, pine. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. The flavor, like the arona, is faint and unimpressive. A mediocre beer. Suttree (2743), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 14, 2006 Yellowish orange, thick foamy head. Fruity, slightly flintyaroma, with a hint of cereal. Taste a bit more bitter than the aroma would indicate - earthy, resiny, and a very woodsy, almost cedary finish. Long aftertaste. Thanks to Jcapriotti for the trade!
