Flavor is much better however. Really solid makt and hops balance with fine ending crispness in the mouthfeel as it emphasizes the flavor. LtJudge (432), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 24, 2005 Grapefruit hop aroma, not overbearing. Orange-amber with a white head and great lacing. Good grapefruit hop flavor, not to bitter. Well balanced. Light body with a light metallic feel to it. Juelze (906), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 12, 2005 Smells of citrus from the (I’m guessing) Cascade hops. Pours an amber color which is cloudy with yeast particles abound. I agree with Facto that the hops do have a "stale" like flavor about them that causes you to smack your lips as soon as the bitterness takes hold in the finish. I’d stick with my SNPA but this would be a close second. Mangino (1027), Mississippi, USA

Aroma of "stale" hops, citrus notes as well. Flavor is bitter, lots of piney hops combines with sweet malt. A decent balance, and overall not bad. jah noth (1020), Rochester, New York, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 1, 2005 12 oz. bottle. Fruity, citric and lightly spicy hop aroma, some grapefruit and lemon with hints of light malts in the background. Medium golden color, partially hazy, with a fine, slight head. Flavor is primarily bitter and hoppy as well, again very fruity, flowery and dry with just a bit of pale maltiness becoming apparent towards the end. A bit overly effervescent and thin on the palate for my tastes, body is light-medium. I suppose it is quite drinkable, after all.
