Bottle - Liked this one about the same as its big sister--the Bitter Woman IPA. It’s a hazy amber pour with a big, white bubbly head. The nose is more malty than hoppy. It’s sweet, caramelly, and has an almost milky taste lingering in there somewhere. Taste is caramel chews, some citrus hops, and some real bitter hops on the finish. It’s bigger, sweeter, and creamier than I expected -- a nice surprise. I might even reach for this before the IPA, depending on how many I would want to have. Not bad at all.

Had this one bottled, thanks Slothgar! Hazy, dark orange pour with a thick, foamy off-white head, a citrusy, hoppy nose with a bit of grapefruit and apricot, very nice citrusy hoppiness throughout the flavor, with with a bit of fruitiness for balance. Great beer!

Bottle. Amber body, slightly hazy, below a off-white head that recedes rapidly. The aroma is sweet at first sniff with notes of peach and apricot. Some citrus — orange and orange peel — pops up. Hint of caramel. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. It finishes lightly to moderately bitter, but nothing like many APAs. In fact, the hops seem muted in comparison. Medium body with a watery texture and lively carbonation. Fairly clean. Shy for an APA.
