Stone Tepee is one pow-wow of a pale! Great stuff! Color is a very nice hazy, pale golden gold hue with a thin white head fading out to leave bubbles on the edge and leaves all sorts of inkblot-like spotty lacing. Looks yummy! Smells yummy too, nice citrusy floral character up front, it smells quite fresh and clean and has a slight sweetness lingering in the back. Yummy taste of bright, but dulled, zesty hops, "paled" perfectly in smoothness with a citrusy tang smoothness and the sweet malt layer fits right in there making this one easy drinker. With a good firm, solid medium body and gets slightly airy dry in the finish. A sensational Pale, beautifully bittered, in every aspect. Great job Tyranena on putting this one together! In a word, "Yummy"

Nope, it’s not pushing the hop barrier, but, it is a solid APA that treats the hop with respect. We all should be so respectful.

Appearance: hazy orange in color, with a large, creamy head. Aroma: citrusy, fruity: peach, apricot, pineapple, zesty, hoppy, and very uplifting, dazzling, enticing. On the palate, lush, sweet, malty. Medium body. Great balance. Overall, full of consistently delivering flavor. Tasty, tasty, tasty! I was happy with this beer all the way down, every inch and ounce. Quite unique in flavor, this one, and resoundingly delightful. I would happily enjoy these day after day, if they would just find a way across the border!

Hoppy, citrusy aroma. Fresh. Color is golden with slight orange tint. Clean and clear. Carbonation is medium with a thin white head. Flavor profile is quite good. Lots of hop flavor, some hop bitterness and just enough malt to keep things in control. The hops have a bit of complexity, showing citrus, earthy, piney and fruity notes. Finish is balanced, slightly hoppy. This is a pretty damned good beer!

In short, I love this stuff--it seems to have just the right combination of flavors for my palate. It’s especially good after a long, hot, sweat-inducing stint of outdoor work. It’s one of my ’usuals’...

Nice, sweet floral, hoppy bouquet. Small to average sized head, white. Excellent lace. Slow carbonation. Poured from a dark brown bottle, I expected a deep reddish, amber beer, but got a gold one instead. Hopefully this was not a decision made to appease the dark-beer-ophobes. Hoppier than your average pale ale. Could almost pass for an IPA. Has enough sweetness to balance the bitterness. Well done. Has some oak notes, which helps prevent it from being a run-of-the-mill pale ale. A little cloying in the aftertaste, but a very solid brew overall.

Clear pale yellow with full head that left intricate lacing. Nice aroma of pine and spruce. Soft, then dry with good use of Cascade hops. Nice balance, very quaffable on a summer’s day.
