Bottle. Very dark brown colour nearly black. First coffe notes in the aroma then more coffe, this time green coffe notes. Very great flavour of coffee, roastedness, sweetness and some maltness too. Very nice and tasty.

12 oz bottle. Poured a dark brown color. Nearly opaque with red highlights. Head was thick and tan with good retention. There was some tattered lace left on the glass at the end. Subdued aroma of roasty malt and coffee. Delicately sweet with minimal roastiness. There was no appreciable bitterness. Tasted of milk chocolate and light coffee. Medium bodied and fairly smooth. Decent, but a bit overrated I think (99th percentile the day I rated it).

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of fine to medium sized dark brown colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a opaque no visible carbonation black colored body. The nice aroma was malty brown malt and dark malt. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt mild hops dark malt brown malt and coffee. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

Poured an opaque black. Minimal head, no retention. Aroma of roasted espresso beans and chocolate. Palate was of roasted coffee and a lot of good roasted malty character with not a whole lot of hop finish. Aftertaste was left slightly bitter from the malts. A pretty good porter.

12oz bottle from either Wife or Mother-in-law ended up with six of them. Oatmeal oats and coffee aroma. Body was black with dark tan head, spotty lacing. Milky body texture with coffee as the main flavor. Smooth on the palate yes whih I had more.

Black, with a touch of red around the edges. Nice, big dense brown head. Big coffee aroma, and huge coffee flavor, too. Smoooth and sweetish notes, too. Very easy to drink, as well. Thanks to Buckybeer for the trade!

Bottle from Pantanap; Nose of roastiness, coffee, and malt; Red- tinged brown with a rusty tan head; flavor of chocolate, coffee, oatmeal, (which shows up in a nice ly thick body), and a light hop presence.
