Bottle, with thanks to Pantanap, pours a dark brown with an off-white head that drifts to a thin whisp, minimal lacing. Strong aroma of mostly fresh roast coffee, and subtle hints of chocolate and vanilla. Taste is roasty oats and more coffee. Palate is full, creamy and smooth. Coffee fans rejoice, this is a good one!

12 oz bottle. Ebony with a crema head. Dark chocolate caramels with just enough musty molasses to soften the sweetness. So inviting. Coffee with cream, anise and licorice. Light carb, almost medium, but still rich. Mild drying and coffee beans. Lingering oatmeal.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of madsberg. A black beer with a tint of red and a light brown head. Extremely burned, coffeeish and ashy nose. Medium body full of hard burned malts and ashy accents - about a ton of coffee in here. The finish is dry with a subdued bitterness. 270607

Pours black with creamy tan head. Aroma of strong coffee and roasted malt. Flavor was mostly coffee with some chocolate and malt. Very smoothe.

Pours almost black with a thin creamy tan head. Aroma of bitter coffee and bittersweet chocolate. Taste much the same, almost like an unsweetened iced coffee. Nice!

Aromas of coffee, chocolate, butterscotch, and some vanilla. I could have smelled this all night. My first sip was decadence, and then the flavors deminished. Still a great beer.

This comes out of the bottle as a dark brown beer but turns black in the glass. The tan head is thin, but it does some nice lacing nonetheless. The predominant aroma is coffee supported by roasted dark malts and oatmeal. The flavor seems to intensify what’s found in the nose, and to that mix a little chocolate, alcohol, and earthy bitterness is added. Very smooth and quite tasty.
