Bottle from Ryan, thanks! Pours out a dark black color without much of a head at all. Smell is huge overwhelming coffee and chocolate. Some sweetness and oats as well. Taste is thick like an imperial stout and full of coffee and chocolate. A seriously good beer, very thick for a porter. Reminds me of a more coffee flavored oflabrikken. Awesome stuff here, thanks Ryan!

Bottle (12oz). Shared with blankboy and biegaman, my bottle via trade with oakbluff. Pours deep red-brown, with a speckled brown head. Roast coffee, dark malt, minty hops, mild lactose - smoooooth. Taste is smooth, rich, nutty chocolate and coffee, milky, mild grainy hops - did I say smooth? Rich, thick, creamy, mildly astringent - great coffee liqueur taste. Yumm.

From a 12oz Bottle. Purchased at Riley’s Wines of the World in Madison, WI. Pours a dark black, completely opaque color with a thin layer of creamy beige head. Some gentle swirling rejuvenates the creamy topping, but it dissipates more quickly than desired. Tons of coffee in the aroma, which imparts a borderline smoky, ashy character. A little bit of toasted oats and dark chocolate malt add a bit of enjoyable complexity, but the coffee mostly dominates. Medium bodied, creamy carbonated mouthfeel. Tons of coffee greets the palate, but it has a smooth flavor that doesn’t present any harsh, bitter, tannic, or burned flavors that often accompany coffee additions. Great silky texture. The coffee flavors give way to some creamy dark chocolates and an almost milky flavor. Long lasting finish of subtly smooth chocolate flavors. Tons of deep dark malts without any roasted or burned flavors; impressive. Not an overly complex porter, but very solid, well-constructed, and enjoyable overall.

Bottle drunk 4/24. Beautiful dark brown color. No head at all. Nice fresh roasted coffee aroma. The taste was of strong coffee. Smoooth with oily/creamy mouthful. Medium bodied. Very good brew.

Bottle courtesy of Ughsmash. Pours brown with a tan head. Smells strongly of coffee beans and chocolate. Tastes like coffee with some sweet malt. Some peppery splashes are present on the finish. Decent for what it is.

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle from The Coffee Grounds in Eau Claire, WI. Pours an opaque dark brown brew with a thick tan head. Aroma has a lot of coffee, some vanilla, dark chocolate, and a touch of oatmeal. Taste is chocolate/barley malt with a strong espresso feel. Palate is slightly carbonated and a little metalic. Finish leaves a coffee aftertaste and then fades to vanilla. Those who like coffee in their beer will not be disappointed.

12oz bottle from Crosling. Rich murky black pour eschews a large fresh ground coffee bean aroma, sitting on a bed of vanilla and lavender incense. Silky and luxurious in the mouth, only as bitter as the best black coffees and similarly rewarding.

Bottle. Thanks to Stine for sending me this one. Poured a thick black body with a huge head, debated giving this a 5. Heavy coffee aroma with some chocolate, malt. Creamy mouthfeel. Big chocolate taste, noticable coffee feel. Thick mouthfeel that was very smooth, very easy to drink. Good Porter.
