pivnizub (3770), Porúří, Germany Apr 8, 2007 Draught at the brewpub: Hazy, copper coloured with a small and firmoff-white head, sweet malt, traces of toasted malt and oaky hops in the nose, medium bodied, robust bitter-sweet flavour, gets drier towards the lingering, bitter-aromatic finish. Good, well prepared stuff.... rickgordon (3060), Göteborg, Sweden Aug 8, 2004 Draught at the brewpub.
Amber colour with a big head. Very smooth malty. Rich bitterness. ABV a little too obvious maybe. As it warms, the maltiness shows off more, as well as a developing nuttiness. Medium, and very pleasant, bitter. According to the brewery this is a bock, but it felt more like something in between a bock and a vienna.
