Incredible if drunk together with the Czech liquor, Becherovka. Tomislav (12), Croatia

Creamy head even after few minutes (the best head I’ve ever seen), very dark but not too strong, it reminds me od Tomislav beer (the best in Croatia), just perfect! Worth every Czech crown (price is cca. 4 USD for a mug, very expensive regarding czech standard). austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA

U Fleku’s beer (they only brew one) is thick and rich and sweet and utterly delicious. Chocolate, maybe a touch of roast. Lovely stuff. ¾ (5006), Oregon, USA

A bit smoky, with coffee overtones, nice grayish/white head, deep brown (almost black) body. If you’re in Prague, the beer is worth the trip, although it’s expensive (50 crowns or $2 per 0.4 litres) by Czech standards. *) coldbrewky (736), Saugerties, New York, USA

Served with gusto and repitition at the source in Praha! A dark slate black/brown in the mug. Frothy rolling head. Poured expertly by Pavel and Heinrik. They gave me lessons. Body is lasting but not overpowering. Goes down easy. and frequent. A jewel of Prague. Nose was wiped out by Tubas and accordians...not to mention all the smoke. JamesTrab (15), Matelica, Italy

The musicians, the waiters, the sausages.. I took 3-4 pints of flekovsky and I can say for sure, that it was the most amazing beer I’ve ever drunk. The Price: 69 Czech crowns for 500ml, that is 2,70€.
Expensive for Praha, cheap for its taste. Sigmund (2300), Hafrsfjord, Norway
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 29, 2005 Draught at U Fleku (with dortmunder). Served too cold. Very dark brown, nearly black colour - impenetrable for light. Moderate creamy tan head. Lovely aroma of leather and oak, dark chocolate and liquorice. Flavour is malty and moderately roasty, notes of dark chocolate and coffee. Never mind the inflated prices (by Czech standards), this beer is a must (at least once). And the liqueur we were forced to buy (which I drank AFTER the beer) actually tasted not-too-bad.
