pivnizub (3501), Porúří, Germany Apr 13, 2008 On tap at the "U medvidku", Praha: Deep amber coloured, quickly vanishing beige-brownish head; dried fruit, roasted malt in the sweet-caramelly nose; full sweet flavour, full bodied, a bit sirupy; leather and tobacco in the sweet finish, rounded by a shy bitter aftertaste. Absolutely not my cup of tea, but a very interesting cough-syrup....
yespr (5404), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 3, 2008 33 cL bottle at the brewpub. Pours golden amber and hazy with a lacing tan head. Berry citric aroma, quite inviting. Full bodied. Flavour is mild citric to berry fruity with a mild acidic touch. Dry wooden barrel note. Finish is a mix of barrel and berry fruity flavours with notes of overripe fruit. Solid, smooth and nice. oh6gdx (4966), Vaasa, Finland Jul 2, 2008 Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is leather, some chocolate and sweet malts. Flavour is very sweet plummy malts along with mild chocolate, spices and also the alcohol, which fits this beer perfect. Raisins in the finish. As it warms up also some notes of honey become evident. armando629 (329), Budapest, Hungary May 5, 2008 What the hell have you tasted? This is a good and strong beer with a big personality. Dark brown body with a small delisicious head. Fruity and liqueric aroma of chocolate, raisins and toffee. Fine taste with oily and fruity mouthfeel, plum and raisins, chocolate, some coffee or toffee...Complex, syrupy body.I like it.... beerbuzzmontreal (2666), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Apr 14, 2008 Aroma of sweet caramel with malt and mild smoke. Pours a clear brown color with a ring of tan lace. Very sweet flavor of caramel and malt, not too good. The body is light to medium with a liquorous texture and gentle carbonation. Average.
