Roasty aroma with vanilla and a little sweet malt. Opaque brown with a tawny sheet on top that dots the glass as the beer is consumed. Almost sherry-like roasty/toasty flavour with definitely some hops in there. Smooth, medium body, moderate carbonation, clean finish. KimJohansen (4296), Copenhagen V, Denmark Aug 28, 2008 Dark brown with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with hints of roasted malt and rye bread. Sweet flavor with that holds roasted malt and caramel. Very mild ands ends sweet. ChristianScheffel (2250), Odense, Denmark Aug 11, 2008 Hazy dark brown beer with a small but lasting off-white head. Malty caramel aroma, with some hops and a touch of prunes. Sweet with roast malt flavour, and a hint of hops in the finish. One of the more boring Czech dark beers.
