Quack-Duck (1973), Bodensee, Germany Nov 1, 2008 on tap at the brewpub. Hazy golden colour with a red touch. Full-bodied, malty, slightly sweet-ish with hints of cherry, reminding me of a certain German ’’Hustenbonbon’’. Quite all right, but I’ve had better cherry beers. asheft (1017), Marburg, Germany Aug 29, 2008 [on tap at brewpub]
Fruity berry aroma blend interestingly with noticeable hops. Hazy, ruddy-brown with a dense shiny top. Lip gloss and medicinal flavour together with pleasant hops and quite a bit of bitterness. Medium to light body, moderate carbonation, some lingering bitterness. KimJohansen (4299), Copenhagen V, Denmark Aug 28, 2008 Hazy orange with medium creamy white head with pinkinsh glimts. Sweet yeasty aroma with cherry and mild almond notes. Sweet fruity flavor with natural cherry, almond and caramel notes. ChristianScheffel (2318), Odense, Denmark Aug 11, 2008 Dark orange with a lasting pinkish head and a floating cherry that I will just try to ignore. Floral and perfumed cherry aroma. Dry malty flavour with cherry notes, full body. DSG (997), Yuvalim, Israel Aug 9, 2008 (6/28/08) Draught at the brewpub in Stříbro. Reddish amber with a white head with pinkish hues and a cherry inside the glass. Fresh aroma of sour cherries. Sweetish flavor with cherry tartness and some unpleasant bitterness in the finish.
