on tap at the grand opening in Stříbro today. there were two queues, one for the free 10% and one for this and this one was much longer. amber, relatively dark for a czech pilsner, huge large-bubbled head that my nose kept making big dents in. aroma of saaz, toffee apple and some tropical fruit, extremely fresh, i guess they’d had a long time to make sure they got the beer to be at its best on this particular day. faint hint of dark malts, light caramel, and then a huge burst of bitterness, quite prickly, lightly citric. excellent stuff from a very promising brewery

The second beer on the second day of RBESG 2008. <br />Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy golden coloured, medium sized head, slightly malty nose. Very malty, mild hoppy and light yeasty taste with moderate bitter finish. Refreshing and easy drinkable beer.

<i>Draught at the brewpub</i>. Cloudy amber with medium creamy off-white head. Bready and slightly caramelly malt aroma with some faint floral hops. Medium bodied and smooth. Moderate bitterness.

On tap at Zlý Casy, Prague. Hazy amber beer, a hint of yeast, a little pleasant sourness. Strong flowery aroma. Long lasting bitter aftertaste, crisp and dry.
