Bottle (thanx to Stefan): Deep golden, lively carbonation, mid-sized loose off-white head, slowly collapsing; sourish-vinous nose with a touch of turpentine-like yeast; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, soft MF, light to medium bodied, a bit gassy; grainy-fruity, sweetish finish. Drinkable, but repetition not necessary........

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Cloudy, deep golden coloured and effervescent hue with a mid-sized, not very stable frothy off-white head. Sweet and dusty, quite wheaty aroma with a slightly vinous and spicy touch. Light-sweet flavour with a minimal acidic touch, light bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Yeasty, slightly wheaty and faint fruity taste with light spicy phenols; moderately dry, slightly sweet and quite slim malt-accented finish. My first pumpkin Ale, that leaves me a bit disappointed: slim and not very complex but refreshing enough to be enjoyable (26.03.08).

bottle. Orange/amber colour, medium-sized head. Malty beer with hints of grain, with a pleasant fruity sourness.

Bottled:
Fresh, light fruity aroma. Hazy orange color. Taste is fresh, fruity, light sweet and sourly. Light bodied. Light bitter dry finish. Very nice and refreshing but a bit too light.

Bottled. As Papsoe says Pumpkin beers are not the done thing in Europe so I really didn’t know what to expect. We also don’t eat a lot of pumpkin although I am partial to butternut squash! Can’t say that I tasted any squash like vegetable in this beer but there was a certain spiciness which I found very enjoyable. The beer itself is a dark orange colour and it pours with a fastly dissipating head. The aroma seems a bit marmalade like with some sticky spices. The taste is clean and malty. There’s a bit of a tomato note to it and again a little spice. Good beer which has made me keen to try some US pumpkin beers so if anyone wants to send me some........
