Builds a massive ultra-stable golden brown head on top of a lively carbonated cloudy golden golden brown hue. Sweet wild honey aroma, a touch of belgian fruityness there. Fruity orangepeel and berry flavoring, heather, fitting bitter edges, dry herbal finish. Sparkling dry mouthfeel. Slowly receding minerally dryness. World class - thanks a lot pivnizub!

from Uerige-Treff in Carsch-Haus, Düsseldorf - pours a hazy copper-brown colour under a beige foam; nice lacing; earthy and fairly hoppy aroma; flowery with notes of caramel; medium-bodied with a subtle carbonation; very bitter and very bitter; very long bitter and earthy finish with long lasting and solid hoppy notes - absolutely beautiful

Hazy dark amber, bit of UFO’s; with huge, very fine & dense dark beige head, lacy. Wood, yeast, dry malts, some of them coloured, fresh green leaves. BItter à souhait , wood, little smokiness, but above all a WONDERFUL bitterness, achieved, it would seem, with only noble German hops. Medium bodied, chewy, velvety texture. Another superb realisation from my N°1 favourite German brewpub. Danke, Sebastian

(swing top bottle, bought at the brewery in Düsseldorf) Hazy, cloudy amber colour with a big and lasting foamy, slowly lacing beige foam. Dusty, sweet malty, toasty caramel aroma with a nice fruity and intense herbal hoppy blend. Hoppy, yeasty and fruity taste with a rich, almost medium bodied toasted malty base; aromatic, bitter and lingering herbal, slightly floral dry finish. Just 45 minutes away by train. Oh Lord, what a wonderful life...

Very fresh bottle - Hazy red brown body, very creamy beige head, thick lacing; Very pleasant malty nose, deeper, fresher and more complex then their standard Alt; Big soft carbonation in bitter complex body; Very bitter dry finish, long with lots of aroma. Great beer!

3rd LCRBM. Firm flowery and earthy flavor. Long hopbitter aftertaste. Hoparoma with even a hint of smoke. The difference between this beer and the "normal" bottled Uerige isn’t that great. This might be a bit more intense.

A Mes rate: Bottle at LCRBM3. Dark brown with a slight white head. Awesome grassy hops and tasty alcohol. Nice roasty malt notes with some caramel. Dry finish. Pretty good but not sure the alcohol should be so apparent.
