Jun 23, 2008 Bottled. A dark brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet matly with primary notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and a light touch of roasted malt. The body is thin. Somewhat boring.

Medium body with hard roasted malts, fruity and hoppy flower notes with an ashy edge. A hint of vanilla also. The finish is lightly bitter. Interesting - but far from a traditional Dunkel. 130608

Jun 14, 2008 Bottle. Low and quickly disappearing light brown head. Very dark brown almost black body. Roasted barley malt aroma with coffee notes. Pretty carbonated and strong coffee flavor. Impressive for a lager, long bitter aftertaste.

Jun 14, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours hazy and dark brown with a lacing tan head. Solid grapefruit hops aroma with a mild roasted malt note. Flavour is hoppy, grapefruity and light liqourice note mixed with a nice caramel and roasted malt base. Ends with a light fruity bitterness and light roasted flavours. Nice one.

Mar 2, 2008 Bottle bought @ YNWA, Kolding. Pours dee dark brown colour with a nice big creamy brown head. Good lacing. Soft aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate and some bitter hops. Quite good mouthfeel. The flavour has dark bitter chocolate, good roasted malt and comfortable bitter hops. Dry well lasting roasty finish.
